Rachel recently volunteered at Casita Verde, Greenheart Travel’s environmental project in Ibiza, Spain. Aside from learning about permaculture techniques and helping with the many projects taking place at Casita Verde, Rachel was also able to soak in the beauty of the area during your program.
This is the main outdoor dining area of La Casita Verde. This scene includes one of the many carob trees on sight. Carob collecting was a big job! (One which I got to take part in.) The tan building behind it is the Bottle House (aka the media center), which, as the name suggests, is constructed out of old wine bottles.
This Tepee is one of the many habitations in La Casita Verde. Others include; a yurt, a tree-house, and a cave.
One of many beautiful sunsets that can be witnessed from the grounds of Casita Verde.
La Calla below Pirate Tower. Although there can be danger of jellyfish, this beach is great for cliff jumping!
The waters below Pirate Tower. Here I rode a Zip-line from a caravan on the top of the cliff to a rock in the sea!
One of many “Hippie Markets” on the island of Ibiza. They all share the same lively, vibrant ambiance.
