Getting Settled into a New Culture During Orientation

Greenheart Travel’s most recent high school exchange student has arrived for his orientation in the Netherlands! Milahd Mansoori began his study abroad adventure with an in-country orientation held in Schiphol to learn more about the Dutch language, culture and to meet fellow students.

On January 7, Milahd and fellow students headed to Summercamp Heino where they would spend the next few days getting to know each other, learning Dutch and exploring the area by visiting the musuem, city square and getting active on a bike tour. On the last evening he enjoyed a “bonte avonde” as a final send off before meeting his new host family and officially begining his study abroad program in the Netherlands.
