The Last Day in Costa Rica

by Janvier Jones, Greenheart Travel Volunteer in Costa Rica

Our Greenheart Travel volunteer Janvier, and her daughter, share their journal entries from their project in Costa Rica over the holiday. This is their final entry in the series as they share photos from the final moments at the animal rescue center and eco-reserve.

Today was our last day.  I am really going to miss our host family, but we got pictures, exchanged email addresses, and “friended” each other on Facebook–we definitely plan to keep in touch!

One final rescue!  We found this little guy (or girl, how do you tell?) in the road as we were driving back to Proyecto Asis for the last time.

Then some more goodbyes…

A final view from the plane…
