Wordless Wanderings: Maasailand Volunteer Project

photo essay by Stacey Delgado, Greenheart Travel Volunteer in Kenya

Greenheart Travel’s volunteer participant, Stacey, shares a few photos from her project in Kenya. She had the opportunity to work alongside the Maasai community in project development highlighting education, income generating activities and creating access to basic resources such as water.

Stacey interacts with children in the community. One of the volunteer activities involved in the Maasailand project is participating in workshops for women and children.

Construction is an ongoing project here, and volunteers can get their hands dirty helping with the building and painting.

Stacey was able to explore the area and enjoy a safari spotting the wildlife in the Masai Mara area.
