My Georgian friends and I had a nice walkabout this past weekend in beautiful Borjomi National Park, one of the largest in Europe.
The park is located in central Georgia and is part of the lesser Caucasus. It covers more than 85,000 hectares of native forest and sub-alpine and alpine meadows, and is home to rare species of flora and fauna.
A little red wine and cheese for breakfast with friends before we set off on a hike.
My new friend for the weekend. The puppy belongs to my friend Irakli and his family, who I stayed with on Saturday night after spending Friday night in the Hotel Borjomi. The dog was really great, unfortunately, I don’t know what type of breed he is.
