Sun Tan Maintenance in Batumi, Georgia

Photo essay by Kenneth Monette, Greenheart Travel Teach Abroad Participant in the Republic of Georgia

I spent the weekend at Batumi, a town on the Black Sea about four hours from Surami and close to the Turkish border.

It was a great weekend, and the Black Sea was warm, beautiful and very therapeutic to swim in.

There was plenty of opportunity for great suntan maintenance, followed by  dinner at a Turkish restaurant on Saturday night, and dancing with Turkish girls.

Sign at the beach along the Black Sea making sure we knew the rules.

A beautiful view of the coast along the beach.
